St Ives Bay, Framed

This is a photo from the archives but new to Flickr. It’s from the harbour side of St Ives in Cornwall, UK. The porthole frames the view over St Ives Bay. St Ives has a turquoise sea and light gold sand, always. That’s how I remember it.

St Ives also has treasures that stop me in my tracks. One set of treasures is the Barbara Hepworth sculptures that I keep stumbling across and loving. They’re scattered across the town. The second set of treasures is the thoughtful everyday art, like this window. The major treasure is the glorious light.
