NS G07 crosses the Ocmulgee river
Not long after sunrise finds Norfolk Southern local job G07 crossing the Ocmulgee River on its way out of Macon. It will take a right at Mogul to head north on an ex CofG branch now named the 'F' Line towards Monticello and the Cater Parrott RR interchange at Shady Dale. The local sports a pair of Altoona Abominations in the form of admiral cabbed SD40-2's. This local has been running with a pair of high hood GP38-2's for the past month but of course the day I decide to make a trip to chase it they slap these things on.
