Tight Fit

A coach and a bus try to fit through a very small gap on the Amalfi Coast Road, just outside Positano.

The small coastal town of Positano, tucked away in a cove on the western end of the Amalfi Coast.

Positano is one of the premier resorts along the Amalfi Coast and is usually filled with visitors during the summer.

It's a bit of a nightmare to find parking here though.

The drive along the Amalfi Coast, from Sorrento to Amalfi itself is among the best coastal journeys in the world. The road clings to the cliffs of the Sorrentine Peninsula above the Mediterranean Sea and passes through the towns of Positano, Amalfi and Atrani, before heading inland to Ravello.

It’s not a drive for the faint-hearted as the roads are very narrow and winding and it’s not always easy to fit two cars through the gaps in the road. But the views are worth it and there is some stunning scenery.
