Reflecting on Thomas Lake

Mount Sopris reflected in Lower Thomas Lake. Located above the town of Carbondale in the Roaring Fork River valley of central Colorado, this is a great destination for a moderate hike. The popular trail gains 1600 feet of elevation over 3.5 miles as it winds through a mix of wildflower filled meadows and forests of its way to the pair of Thomas Lakes.
