Autumn Aspens

It was a perfect fall day for hiking at Effigy Mounds National Monument along the Mississippi River north of Marquette, Iowa. The main trails were crowded with people trying to squeeze in a late season hike, but the we had the southern unit to ourselves as we explored for several hours.
