New Years Morning Sunrise
This shot is over a year old now. It was taken from one of my first planned photo shoots. The tower formations in the water are Tufa towers. I remember a great deal about that day. What I remember the most was the bitter cold. It is not unusual for the temperature to drop into the single digits around here. Most of the time I do not really notice it. I am in and out of heated buildings or vehicles so quickly. That's what I remember most about this morning The cold. It was 8 degrees when I left for this shoot at 4 in the morning. With a wind chill bring the temperature into realm of -10
At the time when I took this shot, I was really excited and happy with it. I liked the color and the location is a great location.
The last year has changed me a for the better, though. While I still really like the shot. Now I just want to go back and try to do better
