Day 1 reflections

The weekend after Labor Day weekend in Reno NV is always one of my favorite weekends here in town. It is the weekend of the local balloon races> there is about 80 balloons that show up for the weekend

 

This was taken Day 1 of the Reno Balloon Races. I took these during Mass Ascension. Balloon races are probably the most popular event for locals held throughout the year. Something relaxing about walking among the balloons, talking to the pilots and watching the balloons float skyward.
