Candle in the Lake

Again something a little different than my normal photography

 

This was taken at Donner lake. I had gone up after a snow storm with the hope of capturing a killer sunrise.

 

The sunrise that day was nice but I blew it with my camera settings.

 

I was trying to figure out how to get this giant tree into a picture I think its really cool. Watching the arch of the sunrise I played with the composition a bit and this is what I created.

 

I call it Candle in the lake. To me that is exactly what it looks like.
