It comprises a 15mile single track road along its middle, with the river Etive to your left on the visit to Loch Etive. You cannot camp in Glencoe, but you can in Glen Etive, and thousands do each year.
Glen Etive is at the start of Glencoe, and is only 1.5 hrs. from Glasgow.
It is the start of the wilderness that is the Scottish Highlands.
