Iterative Design
The above image steps through several iterations of the Wayne State university website. The first to second iteration was a huge redesign of the entire site. The ones following it used micro changes to perform iterations on the second design. The third image changes the look and feel of buttons on the left for applying to the college, and rearranging content in the center and the right. The final image simply iterates a micro change to the explore campus link with an image that catches the eye.
Wayne State University did A&B testing to arrive at each iterative change for the site. The overall change of click through rate increased over 100% by the final iterative design.
