Matlacha
My brother, sis in law and I spent a few days on the west coast of Florida visiting a little island with a little town.
Matlacha is an old Florida fishing village, population about 700, with small cottage homes that on the main street have been converted to art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. It now thrives on tourism.
There's not much to do except shop, eat, and drink in all the kool-aid colors that make the town famous.
And if you have a camera, take about a hundred photos.
It was a kodachrome feast for the eyes on a perfect Florida winter day.
