The audacity of hope
In the field next to where I live, all the wildflowers have come and gone, the seed pods have opened and emptied and the grasses dried.
But this one little bush....not taller than a foot....is holding out and here enjoying some late afternoon sun.
The leaves stubbornly refuse to let go even as their color drains and the winter chill sets in.
I really admire that audacity. :-)
I've some company staying with me, and then some more coming on Friday for a few days, then my son arrives on the 15th.
Which is to say I've not been on Flickr that much and have missed a lot of your photos. And will be missing more.
My regrets, my apology.
