The golden castle (In Explore 18-03-2025)
One of the reasons for going to Germany in 2023 was to see this castle (Schloss Neuschwanstein). Earlier I already posted this shot, flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/53937869685/in/dateposted, the second shot is more a less a classic that shows not only the castle but also the surrounding landscape with in the distance the village of Schwangau and the Forggensee lake.
The golden light at the end of the day and the autumn colors add nicely, although the sun is a little bit on the wrong side of the castle.
