Castle Hohenzollern is another one of those scenic castles in de South of Germany. It is situated on the edge of the Swabian Alps of central Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and the Black forest is close by.
There many photo opportunities, and the choice what to post is rather difficult. You can go for the detail, a panorama, and everything in between.
As you can see, autumn started to paint the trees. My original plans were to go to the Black Forest, but weather predictions were that lousy, that I skipped my plans for staying longer and photograph the changing tree colours. I think I was right, from the end of October it rained for months in a row.
