Cattails exploding
A few weeks ago I visited the Noordwaard. It is an area that was developed several years ago as part of the Room for the River program.

I knew there were cattails in another part of the Noordwaard, and I went looking for them. But I was completely overblown when I saw the cattails in a this part of the Noordwaard. Cattails are a pioneer vegetation that like to grow in moist areas, and because of the excavation of former farmer land, it is now a swampy area.
The first time I was there the light was not good enough, but on this day I went back to catch the cattails at the golden hour with my drone.
