Curlew in distress
I've been on the road more often lately. After 4 weeks of intense photography in Denmark, I was fed up for a while, but the birds are starting to call me again.
So I took a trip to the floodplains near Fort Everdingen, and I had a great time with my camera. This is the curlew. As far as I'm concerned, the bird with the most melodious call.
There were a few 100 of them, and when a marsh harrier appeared in the distance, the whole flock went into the air. I chose this shot (instead of a group in the air), because the details stand out so beautifully.
