Descending towards Lago Dei Piani (In Explore 25-07-2022)
Earlier I posted a shot from lago Dei Piani from the rim near Tre Cime di Lavaredo (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/51877812137/in/datepo...). I had to descend towards the lake because the spectacular scenery was just too inviting.
The result numerous pictures in all directions because it is stunning all around. The ochre from autumn and the white from the first snow were wonderfully working together, and in the lake there is even some ice visible.
While there were lots of tourists a few 100 meters higher up, running around the Tre Cime (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/51815064997/in/datepo...), you can see here it was almost completely empty. I was sharing this part of the world with somebody else with a camera, and we both spend at least an hour in this candy shop.
