Rise of the Fluffy
Earlier I posted this image (www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/50155135846/in/datepo...), a little godwit chick probably a few days old, a shot I had been looking for years.
And when you have one shot, then suddenly they can be seen in many more places, so when I came back two weeks later, there were other young godwit running around, and parents shouting at me to get the hell out of there!
One thing that is amazing (with all young birds) is how fast they grow. Two weeks ago it was just a fluffy ball, now you already can see feathers starting to form.
Who knows more next year!
