on the 31st of May I did the second landscape hike by climbing ca 800 meters to Munken (www.68north.com/outdoors/hiking-munken/), crossing again incredible scenery, resulting in this view. It is only a part, and there will be more, not only of the view around, but also of the way up and down. It sure equals the hike to Matmora (f.i. www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/41788415030/in/datepo...).
So to everyone who is planning to do Lofoten, don't only do the classics like Reine etc, but if the weather is good, go up. The rewards are incredible!
The Munken hike is BTW on the south Island near Sørvågen.
