we are one!

Macaws are loving animals. They are pairs for their whole lives, and love to caress each other all the time. One of my nicest memories was when I saw a couple of these in Noel Kempf Mercado (Bolivia). One of the animals was highly distracted by our presence, while the other was trying to put her/him at ease with his/her gestures. That was very adorable to see. Their brilliant colors are another amazing thing. I shot this one at Mondo Verde, Landgraaf the Netherlands
