This little tawny owl was the subject I was searching for on my walks through the beekdal park in Amersfoort (fi www.flickr.com/photos/115540984@N02/38587327341/). At first I had no clue where it was hiding and it took me 2 days to find it, and gave me some wonderful experiences of autumn as a reward. When you know where it is, it certainly is not difficult to see it, plain visible in the open, and I have been back a few times since, because I am not completely satisfied with the quality of my shots. But I have to wait until early in the morning with hopefully a sun shining on this part of the tree, but I have my doubts if the sun can get here.
