Connaught Hall.

Within Maison Dieu, Dover, this is the music hall by William Burges, 1827 - 81, finished by John Chapple. The stencilling on the ceiling has recently been uncovered from beneath gloss paint by a meticulous restoration.

The modern spotlights don't do much for the aesthetics, but needed I suppose.
