Encroachment

Fishermen's Beach, Hythe, Kent.

 

The houses are getting nearer to the beach. They will be on the beach soon, as is becoming the case in nearby Folkestone.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the new residents wasn't thinking of complaining that the beach is untidy or the fishing huts are interfering with their sea views.
