Shell Ginger - alpinia zerumbet

Thanks to a good friend on Flickr I have finally discovered this flower that I shot on Maui, but hadn't been able to identify the flowers name, one of my favorite photographers on Flickr, correctly tracked down this mystery! Thank you Dianne for your help!
