On the Edge

A sure-footed Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres) braves the crashing waves to look for tasty tidbits. Watching these guys feed in such an environment is truly amazing...how they manage to stay on the rocks when they get blind-sided by a wave is beyond me!
