C&O 3018
In late 1974 CP began to operate a run through train, #942/943, which went directly into the U.S. at Windsor/Detroit. For the first three months, CP power, was used, before switching over to U.S. power wotking through to Toronto. Prior to that, all freight trains terminated in Windsor, with various transfer runs going through the tunnel into Detroit. Here #943 crosses Richmond Street, London on its way west out of town, led by a trio of C&O GP30s, 3018, 3027, and 3005.
