Authentic Steam Roundhouse

Moscow's Podmoskovnaya Depot is currently Europe's only remaining state funded, fully operational and steam exclusive roundhouse. It has a team of around 20 full-time machinists who service and work on at least 10 operational locomotives. That number is growing quickly as they seem to be turning out at least a few new restorations each year. On any given day, a visitor can expect to see at least two engines under steam, ready to be used at a moment's notice.
