This Labrie Helping Hand's Blue Coat is the result of Republic Services merger with Allied Waste in 2009. Originally, this truck was purchased to service Hillside, Illinois when Arc rolled out automated collection and operated out of Arc Disposal's yard in Hillside, which has since been closed.
When Allied and Republic merged this truck was brought to the Allied Waste yard in Melrose Park and received a new coat of paint to cover Arc's Forest Green livery. Republic Services lost the Hillside, Illinois contract around the same time to Waste Management.
In Melrose Park, Truck 2410 was used as a spare, until eventually being brought to Arc Disposal's yard in 2014, where it continued to be used as a spare before eventually being sent to a Republic Services yard in Minnesota.
