Viviparous lizard youngsters

Great to see the local Common lizards have had a successful year. The sun came out as I arrived and the lizards did too. Love this little group of 6 (I'm guessing 2 to 3 weeks old) and it shows how quickly they lose the dark colouring they're born with and develop their individual adult markings. They appeared to be getting a little extra warmth from the dry moss, which looks like the lizard version of a luxury fireside rug!
