SURF PHOTOGRAPHY AS ART
I use photography as a medium to paint what's in my eye and heart but I don't manipulate it to the extent that it becomes digital art. I just make global adjustments to the image files which were captured in my camera. I prefer to keep my photography simple.
When I first arrived on this Cornish beach the other morning to photograph friend Ben Young surfing, I was immediately struck by the natural beauty in the relationship between surf and clouds in the sky and how painterly the clouds were looking. So my picture captures that memory and allows me to share it.
