YAY! A YOUNGSTER CATCHES A FISH!
A juvenile Dalmatian Pelican going all out for a fish on Lake Kerkini, Greece.
I shot this at 30mm on the 12-40mm F/2.8 Pro (60mm on 24-80mm equivalent) which was mounted on my second M1X body. My other M1X + 40-150mm (80-300mm) was at my feet on the floor of the boat ready for action and had got wet and muddy (off my boot) which is no problem to this camera system. Even the Olympus Twin-flash unit is fully weatherproof!
It's not as extravagant as some people think to have two identical camera bodies - It makes total sense if you don't want to miss opportunities faffing around changing lenses and risking unwelcome stuff entering while open. I would have missed this shot with only one body because I was mainly shooting on the other lens.
[THANKS TO EVERYBODY WHO FAVES AND/OR COMMENTS ON MY PICTURES - IT IS ALWAYS VERY MUCH APPRECIATED]
