Mikey Sklar & Wendy Tremayne
Vacuum coffee
I still drink coffee. I'm not ashamed of it. We roast our own and often trade for green beans. We have a few
different ways to brew it. A french press, stove top espresso, and now
a new vacuum coffee maker. Wendy recently broke the french press glass
(which has been replaced), but it gave me enough time to sneak in a
order for a vacuum style maker. After making only one pot I have to
admit that I am impressed with the vacuum method. I've never had
coffee that is feels so clean. Not a bit of grounds in the bottom of
that glass. I included a few additional photos so you can see how the
boiling water moves to the upper chambers then drops back into the
lower pot.
