Battery Watering

My battery room is just that. Loaded with batteries. Good ones that we

use, and desulfating ones that I sell. Today I decided to fill up all

the good batteries. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but it always

seems to take a solid hour. This is back breaking work since I need to

bend in funny ways to reach the back row. I waited about three months

with very few equalize charges and the batteries still had several

inches fluid safely covering the lead plates. My rainwater tanks seem

to be gaining particulate matter. The TDS measurements were coming in

at 32PPM - 37PPM. That is still better than we can do with reverse

osmosis, but we used to be as low as 9PPM.
