Leaving Moab today after the #redhot55k race. We really nailed this event. No recovery issues. We ran on very little calories, avoided nausea and kept our heart rates very reasonable. I credit all of this to our use of a #ketogenic diet and the Phil Maffeton 180 formula. #ultrarunning #paleo #heartratetraining #fatadapted #lowcarb

fermentedfoodguy: I carb loaded the day before, during and the day after. Otherwise I am keeping it pretty low. 75g-100g a day. That is more than the definition of keto allows, but it is designed around a sedentary lifestyle.
