Mt. Goliath's Bristlecone Pines

I drove up to Mt. Goliath (Colorado) today, to almost 11,000 ft above sea level. There was more ground foliage and wild flowers than I have seen in years. This can be attributed to the abundance of rain in the spring and into the beginning of summer. Some of the trees in this area are over 1,000 years old. Shot with a Nikon D800 and a 24-120mm f4 lens.
