Mt Goliath Bristlecones
The enchanted bristlecone pine forest on Mount Goliath, a mountain peak section of the Mount Evans area is located not far from Idaho Springs within the Arapaho National Forest. These trees are 700 to 1,600 years old, making them some of the oldest tree species in the world. Normally the bark is much lighter looking, this taken after two days of continuous rain and fog. Walking through this area, with the fog creeping in and out, the forest becomes almost supernatural. The camera was level.
