Wild Horses
The wild ponies have arrived back at Gurnard's Head. They were there for a few months last winter too with the idea that their grazing keeps the bracken down on the headland and allows the wild flowers to grow. We certainly had a spectacular display of flowers last spring. The downside is that the ponies make the already muddy footpaths into deep mudbaths, but we can't have it all ways. They are lovely to see.
