The Mighty Oak

A couple of days ago I broke a tooth, which involved an essential and expensive visit to the dentist. To take advantage of a brief escape from lockdown, while out in the car I decided to visit a tree I know, to cheer myself up. By tree, I don't mean the occasional tiny windswept hawthorn bushes which are more often found West Penwith, but a 'proper' tree - quite rare at this end of Cornwall. After enduring the few weeks of gales we've had, the oak was looking a bit lacklustre in the flat afternoon light, but still sported a few russet leaves. I added a texture for a bit of extra interest.
