After restoration work on Lincoln castle walls, there is now a new attraction for children of all ages. Bursting through the walls of Cobb Hall Tower is Lucy the Dragon, who periodically breathes smoke and rumbles.
She was made by the Prehistoric Store www.theprehistoricstore.com/pages/the-making-of-lucy-the-..., and installed in March 2022, her head alone is 4.2m long with the horns and weighs around 140kg.
She is named after Lucy Tower within the castle.
