It occurred to me that nobody uses a vertical taskbar anymore.

Enigma 2.1
A small update - a very small update, not expected to appear on Lifehacker - taking some common problems and criticisms from 2.0 into account.
- Setup program now obeys your computer's unique Program Files directory, so those of you having problems on non-English systems should be fine now.
- NET Icon finally fixed. Turns out I just had to add a MaxValue setting. I can't remember who reminded me of this, but thank you very much.
- Reader now clears stuck links on mouseover, so you don't have to click it anymore. Thanks to moosatov for this idea.
- MoxaWeather's easier to switch to dark icons now; you can just change a number.
- Revised instructions in various places.

Update: Liquid Crystal Discourse is now a reality.
I've been thinking about starting a small blog on which to post my thoughts and philosophy on desktop modding in general. I'm sure I'd still post screenshots and updates here, but I think it might be interesting to try a more independent medium, especially since the Enigma LS project is likely to be a long and gradual development. This depends, of course, on whether I'd have any kind of readership. It would be a totally organic project; I just want to see if it would go anywhere. Feedback on this idea is entirely welcome.

I also thought I should do my part to evangelize the Lifehacker Desktop Customization Concept Development, courtesy of Chaebi69 and Projectvirus. It's just getting started and could certainly benefit from some new voices. :) And on that note:

Rainmeter
has returned to active development. Rejoice! As you can see, they're already working hard, and their Issues list is more ambitious than I expected. I actually found out about it through a comment on Arcs - it seems they've already finished an anti-aliasing overhaul for their next release. Exciting times.
They also told me they're open to suggestions. So there's a chance that we can get some of the concepts that pop up around here supported at the source code level. :)
