Opened May 3, 2000. Closed June 9, 2012. Currently vacant.
Exterior of the main Albertsons store, sitting abandoned for two years now. This Albertsons, once the mighty St. Lucie West Albertsons, was at one time one of the best performing Albertsons stores in Florida. However, that wasn’t enough to save it from Albertsons’ last round of Florida store closings in 2012. This photo is my favorite retail photo that I’ve taken to date.
