Canon 50/1.0L when open F1.0
Canon 50 / 1.0L is very difficult to use on classic SLR cameras. A thin and curved field of focus allows focusing only in the center. Any re-framing leads to a focus shift. But on mirrorless digital cameras this effect can be avoided by assigning a focus point anywhere in the frame. In the Canon EOS R system the phase focusing points are located throughout the frame, therefore for Canon 50 / 1.0L the best choice is the EOS R system.
