Huntoon Point/Chain Lakes 8-20/21-2025

Seiichi, Kazue, and I went on a short camping trip to the Mount Baker Wilderness. We stayed at a free campground right next to Silver Fir Campground. On Wednesday, we visited Picture Lake, then drove up to Artist Point and hiked to Huntoon Point under partly cloudy skies.
The next day, we returned to Artist Point and hiked the popular Chain Lakes Trail. The weather was perfect—sunny with crystal-clear views of both Mount Shuksan and Mount Baker (Koma Kulshan). We felt so happy and grateful to experience such beautiful wilderness together.
