Bean Creek 7-15-2025

Cheryl G and Roxanne recommended Bean Creek Basin as a great spot for wildflower viewing, so Seiichi, Kazue, and I headed to the Teanaway area to check it out. The basin greeted us with an explosion of color—vibrant purple monkshood, fiery red paintbrush, delicate white angelica, and a variety of other wildflowers in full bloom. At Bean Creek Basin, we ran into Theresa and Joann from Ellensburg, who turned out to know several members of our hiking group. Although the weather was quite warm for hiking, we were more than satisfied by the beauty and wonder nature had to offer.
