There is an Australian slang saying - "That's a furphy" or Your telling a furphy" which means one is spinning a tale, rumour or streaching the truth. Well I discovered this old water tank which was made by a guy, John Furphy born in the mid 1800's who was a founder & is reported as the orginal creator of cast iron water tanks used to cart water from place to place.
