The quote is from an episode preview narration for Cowboy Bebop. Once I discovered that a 'next time on the show' thing after the credits, and that it had silly cast commentary, i sort of backpedaled and watched some.
I digress.
I'm all pretty and made up and making that face because I auditioned for a big show tonight. After the audition, I went to Stephanie's, and we played guitar for a while, and then I got an e-mail saying that surprise surprise I didn't make the show. Again. Hence the face.
But this a new year, one that I resolved to let the bad things slide in. I resolved to not let things bother me, and to not worry or stress or even CARE. Trust me, in my situation, indifference is a lot better than hysterics and breakdowns. So it's going to be alright. I still have two more years to get into shows. Two and a half more years, really. So no, it's not good that I didn't get in, but I'm doing my best to smile and deal. Because it's fine.
(and in case you were wondering, no I did NOT photoshop out my under-eye bags in this picture. this is just good, old fashioned makeup.)
