USS Ross, DDG-71; Faslane, Gare Loch, Scotland

The USS Ross was built by Litton/Ingalis, in Pascagoula. She was laid down in 1995, launched in 1996 and commissioned in 1997. She is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer (Flights I/II; she has no hanger). Her home port is Rota, southern Spain. She is shown alongside at HMS Neptune, prior to taking part in the NATO 2018 Joint Warrior exercise.
