HDMS (Royal Danish Navy) frigate Niels Juel, F363; Firth of Clyde, Scotland

Forward structure and bridge of the frigate Neils Juel. At least one of the two single windows are the captain's cabin, whilst the lower set of five windows are for the officers wardroom (the Europeans - including the RN - tend to pay more attention to crew habitability than their US or Russian counterparts, realising that this has a major impact on crew morale). The Niels Juel is an Iver Huitfeldt-class air defence frigate - a class of three ships. She was laid down in 2009, launched in 2010 and commissioned the following year. She is shown heading up the Clyde prior to taking part in the NATO 2018 Joint Warrior exercise.
