Here's a double scoop on yoghurt that we bet you didn't already know: the bacteria in yoghurt often relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), a common disorder that affects the large intestine (the colon). Irritable bowel syndrome typically causes cramping, abdominal pain, bloating gas, diarrhoea and constipation.

 

 

Yoghurt can also restore the balance of your body's yeast levels, thus preventing yeast infections.
