Stalking the Sunset

In the far far north of the British Isles lies a little country where families are called clans and the men wear tartan skirts.

Here on the West Coast you'll find this beautiful wee castle - Castle Stalker.

We'd been staying in Glencoe for a few nights at the King's House Hotel & somehow managed to drag ourselves away from the over abundant beauty of that place to make it here for one short evening.

Unusually we set up where we thought we'd get the best shot & everything did as it should - not too much seaweed, great colour in the sky with just the right amount of dourness (who wants a blue sky at sunset????), perfect reflections, bit of mist, no midges - could have done with a bit more snow on the mountains (for my liking) - but hey - mustn't grumble - you can't always have everything can you? :)
